Virginia cases of COVID-19 continue to climb

Cases of COVID-19 are continuing to climb in Virginia.
Across the state, there have been 2,407 total cases out of 21,552 people tested in Friday’s report. There have been 390 hospitalizations and 52 deaths.
Cases in the Peninsula Health District have climbed to 191 — 111 in James City County, 48 in Newport News, 19 in York County, 10 in Williamsburg and three in Poquoson.
