Four players for York County schools earn All-Region hoop honors.

It was a good year for York County in basketball, as most teams were able to earn region tournament bids. Along with tournament bids, players also got recognized on the All-Region teams.

Nyah Chisolm and Kiara Bomboy were Class 4A second team All-Region selections for Grafton High School, while Nikki Gibson and Munachi Undenyi were honorable selections. The Lady Clippers were the second seed in the region and the region runner-up. On the boys’ side, Terry White was a second team All-Region Class 4A selection, while Landott Stutt was an honorable mention.

Jaidon Bennett was a Class 3A All-Region selection for Tabb High School. Three other players, Joel Froyen, E.J. Bell and Malcom Velmar, were honorable mentions. Josh Yi for York High School was also a 3A honorable mention.
